Quite the dilemma -- While waiting for Joe to recover, should we wait in Mexico or go back to San Diego, then leave for the South Pacific directly from San Diego in April (approx) when Joe is back???

was able to get all his jobs lined up in SD so we're headed out today for
Mazatlan to give Laura some sailing experience...she was going to take the
ferry back by herself on 3 Jan but I figured Mazatlan is only about 300 miles
out of the way for us and the weather was so uncooperative that we didn't get
any sailing in up here. We're going to hang out there until Laura flies out on
5 Jan then we'll check out of Mexico and head home...
