After anchoring off of the beach we jumped in the 85 degree water cleaned up...and we were dirty...I wiped me eye lids on my t-shirt and it like I'd used it to clean the deck! After drying off we launched the dinghy and hit the beach and hit the first bar we saw that was still having happy hour...cold cerveza never tasted better...especially right on the waterfront overlooking the marina...
After the beers we took off
looking for a place to eat...the place is crawling with cops...probably as a
result of the shootings earlier this week.
I stopped to ask a couple of the cops to tell me where the locals
eat...by the time he gave me some ideas where to look, Joe and Jamie had
disappeared...so Danny and I found a local taco shop and had a couple of
burritos and cokes and Joe and Jamie went to a high end restaurant on the
waterfront...trust me, the locals know how to eat...we got the best meal of the
trip for a total of $16...delicious!
Cabo is about as different from
the old days as you can possible imagine...it's like Disneyland for
adults...high end shops and restaurants and lots of rich, fat, old Norte
Americanos...
This week is the Bisbie bill
fish tournament...about $5,000,000 to the winner...and the marina is packed
with high end fishing boats of every description...all going warp speed though
the marina...it's really an experience to see.
You are lucky you do not have an eye infection to deal with. You do know that beer is considered a type of food, right ?
ReplyDeleteAs for Joe finding a high end restaurant, what can I say ??
And what did happen at the fuel dock?
