We're
holed up in Los Frailes...the Sea of Cortez is experiencing a pretty fierce
Norther...winds out of the N from 20-40 knots with wind chop from 6-8 feet
(that often combine to make some really uncomfortably larger waves). The forecast is for the Norther to last a
couple of more days and then start fading out on Thursday...
I'm
sitting typing listening to the Amigo Net check-ins. I counted 21 boats at anchor last night in
Los Frailes...fortunately, this is a really good anchorage in these conditions
and could actually handle a lot more boats.
Judging from the traffic on the net, there are no more boats out in the
sea at this time...I sure hope not, it's narly out there.
We'll
hit the beach for some exploring after breakfast...
